Put To Russia with Love on your pressie list this Christmas and pass on the gift of love to the orphaned and abandoned children of Hortolova Orphanage.

While some lucky Irish children are wishing for the latest gadget or toy from Santa this  Christmas morning, the Christmas gift wishes of children in Hortolova range from the simple - a small teddy bear to cuddle at night or new books for their library - to the more profound wish of being reunited with a parent or sibling.

With your help we want to make this Christmas extra special for the children in Hortolova.  We have compiled a list of their most popular Christmas gift wishes for you to purchase, filling Santa’s sack (or Father Frost as the children in Russia call him!) to the brim this year, and guaranteeing a magical and memorable Christmas morning for all in Hortolova!

To Russia With Love, working with and for abandoned, neglected and forgotten  children, this and every Christmas.

Clontarf housewife Debbie Deegan’s crusade to adopt a small Russian girl who had spent a summer holiday with the Deegan family led her to Bryansk in Western Russia and ultimately to founding To Russia With Love, the Irish charity she set up in direct response to the conditions she encountered in a rundown orphanage in Hortolova.  Hortolova Orphanage and its children were hidden from Russia and the rest of the world, until Debbie discovered its secrets in 1998.
